Ti-6Al-6V-2Sn (Ti-6-6-2)
Ti-6-6-2 is a high strength alloy heat treatable in thicker sections than Ti-6-4. It is used in plate and forging applications for aircraft and is difficult to weld. It is available in annealed and solution treated and aged conditions.
